Sylvan Lake Figure Skating Club (SLFSC) Partnering Policy

 

Skater needs to be a registered member with the SLFSC for a program in the current skating season to take advantage of Club Partnering; unless invited by an executive member

A board member or board appointed coach will prepare the partnering schedule for the club

 

All correspondence with the club partner will be through the board appointed representative

 

Skaters are expected to do an on ice warm up for a minimum of 10 minutes prior to their scheduled partnering time - with the exception of the first skater on the schedule for the day.

If a skater is late for their scheduled partnering time they will not bump the scheduled skaters to accommodate them self, they will have missed their partnering.  

 

Fees must be paid and club consequences may apply

If advance notice is not given for cancellation of a skaters partnering slot, the skater will be charged the applicable fees

 

Music privileges will be given to the skater in a lesson with the dance partner. On ice right of way is to be given to skaters in their partnering lesson

 

Club partnering is a privilege and if any SLFSC policies are not followed, partnering privileges may be revoked
