Do I register my child in the PreCan or CANSkate Program?
Pre-School CanSkate (PreCan) is best for skaters between the ages of 3-5 years old. PreCan is taught on half the ice surface and is only a 30 minute class. This is to ensure that these little skaters leave the ice enjoying learning to skate, a 45 minute class can sometimes be too long for these beginners
Skaters are grouped according to their skill level and may move groups as they master skills. Skaters must be a minimum of 5 years of age to register in the CanSkate program, unless the coach has approved registration based on passing the PreCan class.
