Sierra MacKenzie - Regional Trained Coach

Wednesday CanSkate, Wednesday StarSkate

I am currently a regionally trained coach who is just finishing my last year of high school. I have been skating for 13 years and currently have achieved gold dance and gold artistic and continue to work towards quadruple gold and diamond dances.  I also coach with the Red Deer Skating Club in their group programming, and the Spruce View Skating Club as their head coach. I’m excited to have the opportunity to coach in Sylvan this year as I continue working towards regional certification. I am dedicated to creating a safe environment for each skater to grow and reach their personal goals. Skating has given me so much and I’m so excited to have the opportunities to give back and hopefully become a role model like the amazing coaches that have brought me so far in my own skating journey. My future plans are to gain my private pilot's license as well as aircraft maintenance engineering, while continuing to coach.
